Hey, all! I've been reading the boards for quite a while now. Finally decided to start posting!
Anyways, I'm wondering if it is plausible to use a 100-200 gallon rubber tub to use as a grow out "tank" for my medium (about 5-7 inches) oscars and plecos that are currently steadily outgrowing there temporary 55 gallon. There are 2 oscars and 2 plecos. I will not be keeping the tub outside since I love in Indiana and the weather is insane.
The reason I am wondering about all of this is because I don't have anymore room to place a large tank on the first floor of the house. We haven't finish the basement yet so I don't want to set up a large tank down there and have to move it.
I know that oscars may have a tendency to jump and don't know how I would deal with this if I were to keep them in a 200 gallon tub for about 6-7 months. Any input and adivce on setting this up would be greatly appreciated!
