No offence to snakehead lovers but we fed these to our fishes here in singapore. That's a 4 inches giant snakehead fry.

They should remind you of dinosaurs they family goes back at least 96 million years in fossil records and probably more and that would be the age of dinosaurs-Anne

I basicly prefer upper jaw poltpterus species to lower jawed species. Why personal preference I feel the upper jaw species are more attractive and more active (with the exception of my ornates) than the lower jawed-Anne

Great endlis koji ! MFK spec for sure!! How big are they ??

Rayman - dont get upset. Snakeheads are considered food fish and feeders in asia.
Dont worry, who knows some billionaire sultan or sheik in Brunei from some oil rich country might be feeding asian arowana fries to their toad or something. :)

My picture taking skill is still a newbie. Only way to get clearer pictures is to have a brightly lited tank and a pair of steady hands.:D

Yeah...they ambush or they'll snap at them when they swim too close to them. They're very good hunters. Infact, I feed them bullfrogs as well and they will just surface slowly to hunt them down.
