hey just had a quick question. Are salt water stingrays legal in California and I dont mean native ones?

I believe saltwater stingrays are legal but don't quote me on it.
Saltwater rays are not on the restricted list in California so they are legal to keep, getting them is a different matter, check out this one from near Bangladesh, it gets about 27" across and can be kept salt or brackish. It is the banded eagle ray. pic is from fishbase.

thanks for the info the picture of the ray is mine i purchased him about a week ago hes doing good eating shrimp and other suggestions on what i can feed him.
Salt water rays eat shrimp, clams, other shellfish, chunks of fish, and various worms, at least that is what I have caught them on. I have never kept one in a tank.
