My point, found this cool, Is that Sailfin mollys male to female ratio is 1 to 10,000 and most males are sterile. As a result, females breed with other molly species. This is enough to activate the eggs, but not enough to hybridise. The young are 100% clones of their parents! I find this funny because if platies and swordtails can hybridize, then why can't two mollies? I think of potbellied, sailfinned, lyretailed, Dalmatian mollies:drool::drool::drool:
Anyone here bred sailfins With other mollies? I'm willing to give it a try...

Found this in a book(DK Encyclopaedia of Aquarium and Pond Fish), so I'm willing to try it

I believe you are talking about Amazon Mollies, not sailfin mollies.
