Does it look more like a Midas or more like a RD (I know it is most likely a mix)?

Thanks everyone. I chose between buying an expensive flowerhorn or this guy for $19. I am glad I made this decision. This guy is so responsive and aggressive. Even though he is in a brand new home, he is already a major glassbanger and follows me where I go. He keeps playing in the current from my XP3 powerjet too. Great fish.

lol....yeah...I took some plants out of the tank already because they were really pissing him off- when I was taking them out, I was like...please don't bite me, please don't bite me....

Awesome pickup, he is a beaut. Looks a little more Midas than RD, but I think it's a mix of the 2.

i say midas myself. but there are so many rd/midas xbreeds out there. real devils have big lips and have a pointier face then the midas.

more than likely a MIdevil unless you got it from a big name breeder/importer. most fish in the market are a mix. nice lookin fish.

I speculate a Midas cause of the longish face. And $19.00 for him?? Man my local has one a touch bigger but wants $50.00.... Great buy!
