nice rainbows timmy!! not fair and you got a breeding pair. **** hard enough for me to find a couple. =/
Nice setup, If I could get that number for a reasonable price I would do the same.
They max at about 6" so a 55 may be to small when they get bigger. If pairs form you will get aggression. With Bleheri's they won't go on an out and killing mission, The weeker will start hiding and not eating and eventually pass away.
Timmy, Had you asked questions on another site about sexing them?
On your bottom photo you have a male and a female, centre of the pic male top female bottom. look at the end of the dorsal fin, the male has a dark spot the female does not. Hope I helped :)

Timmy you'll have atleast 4 breeding pairs in there no worries dude convert them to the 150, wait about two weeks make sure everything is alright then start lowering the temp slowly until you hit 68 degrees...wait a week then slowly raise it to 80 again....You'll have mini bleheri swimming around in no time
Rob is that how you started breeding yours? I'm so jealous of your 'crew' of rainbows...

no i haven't breed mine yet , two of them have now reached 5 inchs the others are less, however i will be breeding them soon.. The reason i know so much is because i've done so much research almost everyday in fact it's actually pretty sad.
ps......Go watch V for Vendetta it's damn awesome  :woot: :clap :headbang2

you can find some really useful stuff on snakeheads.org....but the only thing i'm missing is the a fool proof way to figure out what sex they are

Males have a large dark spot on the end of the dorsal fin and females don't.
I hope your right. The ones that are growing fast have the black dots!
