Clean water, hikari gold, and if you get rid of the red substrate, it will be and look redder. And clean your glass. Haha

i don't have i red texas, but krill helps bring out reds. my fish freak when i get the krill out for them. they like it too. sometimes i also buy shrimp (shell on) from the grocery store and cut it up for them. they love that too and you will like the results.

if you want your fish gonna has a red body. YOu have to phut salt in your tank. Not salt that we're using. Natural salt. 200g = 100l of water. SHould have Grand Sumo food

SRT and RT are both same, SUPER is used when well...... it's SUPER red other than that no other kinds. Just different color variations due to quality.

(NO)

I am 99.9% certain it's not his. Lakefish sold that piece more than a year ago(costed more than 1k) and that picture he posted is taken by Lakefish. If it was his, he'd have updated pics by now:D

What fish are used to make a super red texas and a red texas?

Easy answer is Texas and Red Devil/ Midas, but there could be complex variation. Theres really no difference between an SRT and an RT except phenotypically. An SRT and an RT can be siblings.

It was that simple! I was told that there was 5 different fish involved.
Does it matter which is the mother or the father?

Agreed, Krill and a good Pellet like Hikari Gold. I had Jewel Cichlid that was pale like yours and in no time it got red and colorful. Mabe yuou can even use the food thats intended for blood red parrots. Cyclops-Eeze is suppose to help with reddening too, but the food is small and may have trouble feeding it.

Male Cyano/Carpintis and cross to any Parrot/RD/Midas. Then take the best looking male offspring and cross that back to the mother to achieve better reds. Cross a red female offspring back to dad to achieve more pearls. This is a line bred fish and it can take several generations to accomplish what you are looking for.

The ingredients are easy, but the recipe is tough. It takes alot of selective breeding and a certain level of luck.

Oh god, I sound like House don't I.

Except he does statistics though, not luck, so I guess I'm in the clear.
