Has this ever happened to anyone?Earlier today i went to do a water change and noticed i had a little two and half in peacock female who was on her last leg.I have and all male tank and this was given to me last week so i figured the constant chasing done here in.So i did the water change, refilled, hooked the the fluval 404 back up and went to get her out to put in a hospital tank and low and behold she vanished with out a trace.I dont have a whole lot of places for her to go but i searched them all while my wife looked in as a second eye since i have to get a chair to reach in.Now this is only a 90 gallon tank, nothing big enough to even think about eating her.I use a Python and the whole is to small to suck her up-i checked. The ball in the intake and the cap to the fluval always comes off when i prime it up to restart, thought she got sucked in the filter but theres a screen in the end to prevent that.I still unhooked it took the top off and looked in,nothing.:nilly:

Im losing my mind trying to figure out where this fish went!:screwy:My wife is tired of me talking about it and i cant get this off my mind.I may blow a gasket.
I need help or a good story of the similar thing happening.

I had A baby RD, a couple male africans and some clown loaches with a small 7" silver arowana In a 29g .... Then about a week later I found them playing tug-a-war with the aro's head...

I had a Chinese Hi-Fin shark that was perfectly healthy and just dissapeared one day. The only thing I could think of is that it jumped out of the tank and my dog ate it?

If it would have been over night i would have believed she got ate but not in a half an hour. The only thing i havent done is run my fingers through the gravel but she wasnt in that bad of shape not to swim away.Fish abduction id say.Stumped and aggraveted here.lol

Check the gravel whenever a fish dissapears thats where I find them

Nah you'll be fine, and Melafix didn't ever seem to do anything but help heal the fins, soothe the fish and make the water smell like eucalyptus...;)

i lose my 4" gsp all the time... theres only one chunk of rock in his tank... ill spend 10 minutes looking for him.. walk away to get a flashlight to see if by some chance he jumped close to 5" out of the tank and somehow got lost behind it... by the time i get back hes right there swiming around giving me a look of "are you goin to throw in a snail or just look at me"
