the pollini died around 8 inchs total lenth and they are mean as hell man. The only way u can keep them in a cuminty tank is finding the magic combo of agressive fish all equal in size. That way no one fish gets picked on . And in the end theres no real agression.
I was told so many time my combo i had in my 150 wouldnt work heres what i had in it that i can remember and i had no deaths due to violence only power outages and crazy ex girlfriends
1 solo jag from florida kept in submission constantly but never damaged
2 jags breeding pair
2 midas breeding pair
1 flowerhorn
1 pollini sp
1 green texas
chrenchilla sp gold spot i think it was? shawn corect me if im wrong.
A florida uro
2 oscars
1 tsn
1 bullhead catfish
1 channlecatfish
1 tsn x redtail hybrid
and i no i had something else in there just cant think of what.
Nothing died till my 150 got busted and everything got cramed in a 75 gal
then i went to work next day and the power blew. Lost my catfish all of them from that and the pollini. Then few weeks latter another power outage lost some more and so on till i have what i got left now. Since then ive had the power wireing in my house gone threw so no more outages but it was to late my most prised fish had all died.
My ornapinnace can tuch the front and back of my 18 inch wide 75 gal tank. healthy as a ox and still growing. the jag is about 7 or 8 inchs long and the senegalis and palmis are average max sizes. had all three the bichirs maybe 3 years now
