Voted.. its very interesting tho, the correct way to have done it was for the participants to not mention anything about which one is theirs. IMO some of the ones up there look like they were made from clay, although i wont mention which ones. I know people that took days to come up with a plan and actually make one with real candy ingredients..

Just another point for thought, They should all have to be photographed the same way, i can make anyone of those look great with a good camera, a good pose, and good lighting..

This isn't a summer soccer league where everyone gets a trophy. I'm sorry that our free contest that you chose to participate it isn't up to YOUR standards, but running contests isn't what we do best. We're trying to have fun, and like so many other things it'll only take a few people to ruin it for everyone. I can't believe the whining that has been taking place. It's a slap in the face for everyone who has gone out of their way and taken their time to set it up.

Obviously this isn't directed at everyone or anyone in particular, but the mentality behind a lot of what I've read is very childish.

A lot of hours and love went into it.
It's adorable.
It's a mom and a baby.
They have barbs.
They have spiracles.
They even have the little 'v' in their eyes, lol.
The blue stuff is actually the sand.
They're both eating worms, haha.
And they're the only fat stingrays up there! I love fat stingrays! :hearts:

It's undoubtedly the best one up there... it didn't miss a beat on the details. And I love that. You can tell a lot of time went into it. Very bad-ass.

P.S. I think it's too bad that there has been some unfairness in the competition. It is my opinion that it should start over, with anonymity and without solicitation. A stingray is an amazing prize and serves as an incredible motivator, but everyone deserves a fair chance at H2O's generosity.

It's just silly that I had to campaign for my favorite candy stingray because of that. But I think it's the right thing to do since the nature of the contest has gone the direction that it has. And also because you cannot undo the votes already brought on by lopsided tactics in the contest.

Starting over would better honor the candidates, H2O and members of MFK who made this possible in the first place.

That's just my piece. ;)

These are all so deliciously creative from an artistic POV. I think I'm going to vote by most edible-looking, though. Which is a source of conflict for me, since some of the more creative applications of details (like rings, etc) look like they were sucked on by the creator to get to the appropriate dimensions! Yikes!

All of them can be admired forever as photos, though, so yay. :)

I hope that whomever wins takes good care of their prize!
