Here's some pics of my batch of Piranhas. These are my first pictures so bear with me.

Never mind the ugly mugshot of myself. I don't know how to remove it.

Nice P's Ohio. I see you're from Dayton. I used to live there. Did you get your fish from Gerbers?

The tank is a 125 and all are Red Bellies about 4-5'' long. I bought them when they were the size of a nickel and have had them about two months now.

I just moved back here from Florida after about 20 years and don't know the area well. I've not heard of Gerbers but feel I want to hear about them.

I got these guys from Jack's Aquarium and 2 from a little hole in the wall shop.

NOW THATS WHAT I CALL GROWTH!!!

You should lend some of the other keepers on here your feeding regimen.

Beautiful reds tho man, And welcome to mfk.

Oh and that second pic is pretty bad ass:headbang2

Lol, the second picture was the result of working a few hours and hearing my GF call my name. When I looked up she'd taken my pic.

Their feeding schedule is less than exotic. I feed almost exclusively peeled shrimp. I regret starting that as now they won't eat anything [other than feeders] and I have to peel their shrimp! When I first got them they'd eat about 1 shrimp a day. Today they eat about 15-20. I basically drop a shrimp in about once every 45 minutes or so and they usually eat it instantly.

I'm trying to get them on tilapia or catfish fillets but they want no part of it.

Nice reds!

:WHOA:15 to 20 a day? i thought my food bill was expensive lol

Very nice reds you got there, have you any full tank shots? If you cant get them off just shrimps your food bill is going to get bigger and bigger, have you tried not feeding them for a day or so, then get a fillet of white fish and dangle it in the tank(using fishing line). so it is off the bottom of your tank. HTH
