i picked up this little guy this weekend from a fellow MFKer (redevilDon2005). For free i might add (Don you are the man) It is a very nice puffer and it looks like it was very well taken care of. And also has the attitude that you would expect from a fahaka. It is about 3-4" and i have him housed in a 72g corner tank for now. I had the choice of this tank or my 125xt (110g). But i think the the foot print of this corner tank matches up to the puffer better. They little guy was housed with a 12" pleco for roughly 15 minutes until the fahaka decided the pleco was food. And after one bite the pleco is now living in my planted tank. The fahaka is eating good. i gave it some ghost shrimp and some pond snails out of my planted tank and he takes both readily. ------Thanks again Don and let me know what you think http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o245/boostfeind_photos/1-05-09005.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o245/boostfeind_photos/1-05-09013.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o245/boostfeind_photos/1-05-09004.jpg

Yea those are dinner.--they are ghost shrimp or feeder shrimp. I tried to house it with a 10'' or so pleco and that did not work out. The little 3'' fahaka bite a chunk out of its tail with in minutes of being put in the tank. lol------although there are a few guppies in the tank that were left over from before the puffer that he has not eaten yet, and i mean yet

I think guppies might be to small & too fast to bother with. Although mine picked off 2 dozen neons & tiger barbs within a few months.

Well private fat body's tank sprung a leak and he is now stuck in a 20g while I get his home resealed. So I figured it was time for an update. The spawning plate is 4'' across so I figure he is about 6''. Thats a 3'' growth in about 2.5-3 months.
