GREAT set up, but yeah you are stretching it a bit. How about some electric blue ahlis and call it a Nautica Tank!?!?!

electric blues of some sort are on the list, probably johannis. As nice as the ahlis are they will be too much for that tank I think.

I've got one that is getting to be good size in my 110. I have the feeling I'll be putting that bad boy on the Craigslist at some point....

The tank has been up and running for about 3 months now. The MTS keep it pretty clean.

I've changed the tank up a bit; removed the plants and added more rock and a few more fish. I also removed the T-5's and only have LED's lighting the tank. The fish love it and come out a lot more now. It's about 30% dimmer but still plenty of light to see the fish and it looks cool.
I just picked up an external flash for my camera so hopefully I'll be able to get some decent pic's of this tank...we'll see.

The little hybrid on the right came with a tank I bought a few weeks ago. You can't see very well in this pic but he has really cool powder blue fins.

Melanochromis Auratus - I just got him last weekend, this was his first day in the tank and was still a bit stressed. Time for new pic's of him.

I'm really digging the lower light atmosphere, seems comfortable and more dynamic. I've got this set-up, maybe I should lessen the lightage:

Nice Tanks. The nice thing about the LED's is they give the shimmering effect across the rocks. I got mine frmo Home Depot for under cabinet. You can't capture the look of the LED's in pictures.

How much did lighting cost? Im really diggin the darker look! I think it looks more natural. Plus im all about lowering the electric bill.....

It was $30-40 for a pack of 3 that link together. Each has 10 or so lights and only a couple of watts. I think you can add up to 6 on one transfromer. They are a lot brighter than moon lights.
