As you could see when watching the video, there is another related link which discusses horse hair tapeworms in shrimp. The ghost shrimp we have fed my Africans are wild caught here in the saltwater bays.
First, are these tapeworms something to watch for with wild caught shrimp, or do they mostly occur in Wal Mart shrimp? (tongue in cheek)
Second, can they survive in fresh water fish and is it therefore a risk to feed them to my Africans?

I used to buy my 4 mnubas back in the day about15 every month or so and I never had problems just not all the time I figure a little wild food brings them back to Malawi LOL really though that's the only reason I feed mine occasionally live food except like a wild caught predator then I still don't know if it's nessasary but now I can't get my hands on them I usually just get like a few neon tetras every couple of months from healthy looking specimens kinda expensive food though 1.99 a pop

i can get the shrimp for about .20 a piece, my frontosas go nuts over them. i was always tempted to give them some but was hesitant

I have a good supplier that I trust that sells ghost shrimp for only 10 for $1. That is dirt cheap for ghost shrimp and I know they are healthy feeders.
