im about to go buy a tank soon its a 100 gallon thats 6 feet long.. comes with a metal stand, a hood with lights , 2 hob filters how much do u guys think i should pay....?

if youre buying new then that is a mistake. if its used then i wouldnt pay more than 200.

they overcharge way too much at most shops for new tanks when there are LOTS of quality used tanks out there for 1/4 of the price.

ok i understand ..he wanted 300 but i got him to go to 250 on the phone. imma bout to go to the guys house in like 30 mins. thxs

most would say and I agree too. $2.00 to $3.00 a gallon so $200.00 to $250.00 is what I would pay.

i didnt think 250 was bad but i didnt see it in person yet but i just wanted some opinions..

:(ok so i just went to look at the tank the silicone looks bad on the inside of the tank looks like some1 smeared extra in there and its started to seperate.. it holds water dont know if they tryed to fix a leak or not. one of the filters didnt work. its got a 2 piece hood that sags a lil in the middle kinda needs to be braced.the stand needs to be cleaned up.. the hood and filters are dirty .. so i didnt buy it i was gonna wait to see if i can get for alot cheaper i told him id keep in touch... so any1 think i should buy it and put the time in to resilicone the inside and clean it up. or just wait till i come across another..?
