Found two Leo pups in my large breeder tank yesterday. They are tiny. I think the mother is at least 5 years old. Here's some bad pictures of them right now. I'll keep you posted.

Yes there is a henlei in the tank, but I saw (I think) who got her. And yes they will be for sale once they are weaned. It will be a while.

They do for sure look henlei/leo with those spots and tail size. Great spotting pattern with these pups. Good luck
Henlei is only around 10" at the most and three months ago I don't think he was the tank very long. The male Leo which has been all over her is about 14"+. So probably Leos. Either way the spots are nice.

Congrats Jim! Look like leoxhens to me too. Doesnt matter cause they sure are nice!
they d look different than my pups do when born but leo hens are just fine if thats what they are anything mixed with hen or leo comes out nice

amazing looking pups but I'm with the majority and say leo/hen but either way they are great and honestly some leo/hens turn out better looking than pure bred leos

Often crosses between the two produce messy uneaven spotting,they look fantastic! lovely big well placed out spots on those pups,they are going to be very special fish once they mature.....congratulations!
Thanks guys, the pups are doing great. Starting to eat a little cut up worm and shrimp besides the blackworms. Pictures taken this morning.

I know the fish store I got her from had her at least 2 years before I got her. The male is in with her all the time. I have that problem with my Henlei pair, with the male biting the crap out her.( I had to put a divider in the tank). I would keep trying cause you never know! Good Luck
