I was blessed with a 3" BushyNose Pleco that is black with some dark stripes and has white on the tip of his tail..... I have no clue what type
I wanted to know what do they eat??
Carnivore or Herbs...

Make sure you don't feed him/her veggies only because they have a high chance of catching bloat with high protein. Feed him/her vegetable and most of all zucchini they love zucchini. Good Luck

Looks like it COULD be one of the Medusa types. Check out the planetcatfish Cat-eLog.

It's just a common brown Bristlenose pleco one of the L-144 varietys. It's a male because he's starting to sprout bristles females would have very little around the lip around. He's almost fully grown and should breed anytime for you :) But definitly not a medusa

WOW!! Almost fully grown. I guess he has to stay in the 50gl for life:(
