Hey , so im planning to start getting rid of my old fish , snakehead/rtc/tsn.
And gonna house an Arowana ! I did get a silver awhile back but it was a little to small and ended up as snack for the SH over the night . anyway im just thinking what should i prepare for ? right now ive got a 175g tank Fluval fx5 , Jäger 300 W heater light ramp with 4x lights . ive been reading something about water "bubblers"? and should i get any Water preperation fluids or something to make it more suitable for the aro? (plants ? ) any advices are welcome!

water bubblers just act like an air stone. You really dont need anything else except clean water. your tank is too small either way...

Yeye, i will be getting a pretty small Aro so it will be fine for a long time anyway i already know what sort of tank sizes they need so please dont even bother with that.
But yeah Clean water , ive read that too ! keep the advices coming :)

And no mather how u look at it A tank is always too small for the fish u can never give it the same space as it would have in its natural habitat.

Lol i sure hope you know about the tank sizes. Its really just another fish. Clean water and good food and you're all set to go.

they only stop at 2 ft because they arent housed properly. chili reds hit 30'' easily if well taken care for

Yes they can grow to 3ft long, BUT as long as its in a tank, it wont be getting anywhere near that. Only way to get that big is in breeding ponds. Even my 6ft wide ponds wont do...

silver aros are really picky eaters. its really annoying, i put floating food for it and it just ignores it until i stop watching him. and i tried putting up wallpaper but it starts jumping and hitting the tank cover until i take it off.

They're not picky...Silvers are jumpy, not all that surprising it would start jumping if you put up wallpaper.
