After an aro jumps out of its tank (if recovered and placed back in the tank) will it jump out again? does it learn its lesson?

i dont think they learn their lesson. i think the owner does and finds ways to keep their aro in the tank.
It's the owner who does. I had a jardini jumped out three times as I kept forgetting to replace the lid to the tank.

lol...
Nope and u want to make sure they dont jump and hurt themselves..
Arowana can jump out under any reason.. stress/scared during water change.. or hungry.. or theres an aggressive tank mate and its was scared..
make sure theres no way the Arowana can jump out.. I redesigned my canopy so that theres only a 2" x 72" opening for food... (With a wooden door of course)

Is that question for the owner?:ROFL::ROFL:
my jar jumped last last week and again last week- i was wondering whats the matter cause the param is fine and nothing changed. then i was sweeping the floor and i found one of his feeders on the ground all dried and shriveled up- so now i just dont give him feeders and he hasnt jumped =D

My jar jumped through a small opening in the back of the lid.He was under six inches in length so I wonder if the small ones do much jumping in the wild.
they dont learn mines keep jumping tho lol

i know soooooo sexy the way they swim especially the silvers.
i haven't gotten anything heavy to hold the top down for like 4 months now in my aro tank. mines don't jump unless scared.

Is that question for the owner?:ROFL::ROFL:
i think it should be a question for the owner
as the fish is not staying in because something is wrong(tank size, water params, aggressive tank mates, etc etc)
and if nothing is wrong then the fish has a queer mental disposition and the owner has to work around to solve the problem
but i think the fish do learn their lessons, my green once jumped and got stuck on the braces and the top filter
i made a few changes so that it never happens again
but the aro also has stopped taking leaps for quite a long time
but who knows when he might try it again
No its just their hobby suicide and freaking out go hand in hand
lol..

lower the water level in the tank... when i kept jars or leichs .. they would jump around quite a bit... especially when people are around. i lowered to half tank level.. no issue after then. When i moved onto silvers and asians... i kept any fish under 12" in a half level tank and none have jumped... but then again thats the experience i have had. My aros tend to tame up a little bit better when there over 12-14"
