Hello,
I have three discuss in my 75 gallon tank. I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions on what I should feed the. I think they are spoiled on live worms. They will not eat anything else but that. I also have them in the tank with about 30 other assorted tetras. I was wondering if that was healthy for them?

I have been giving mine a mix of blood worms, omega one super color flakes, and spectrum discus formula.

live food is very risky because them carry so many different diseases and bacteria's. i would go with frozen foods or make your own.

i never fed mine live food. only frozen premade stuff. my lfs has a huge selection and many are made just for discus. i don't see the tetras being much of a problem. just watch them n see if they are niping fins. I kept an uaru with my discus and some assorted tetras

Just starve them for a few days. When they're hungry, they'll start taking other foods. :) The more variety they're given, the healthier they'll be.

Yeah, i agree with zekni. Strave for a few days. they will start eating frozen blood worms in no time.

Mine are okay with flake food and frozen food but love to pick at large chunks of shrimp that my stingray missed until he comes along and take it from them.

Not a discus keeper, but from what I understand, a diet of just worms can't be too healthy for them. I agree with letting them go hungry for a while.
