Mine will eat just about anything. I feed mine Flake, frozen brine shrimp and krill, bloodworms, guppies.... and anything else I have sitting around.

They are really not picky eaters at all (at least the ones i have had aren't)

lol, bummer! how big were the bass and bichirs? did the bichirs eat them the moment they touched water, or did they wait around for a few days?

Bloodworms, shrimp, beefheart, scallops, freezedried brine shrimp(drives them crazy), feeders as a treat, pellets.....anything not nailed down really. My Senegallus aren't very fussy. On a side note, I got to watch my ropefish catch a live feeder.

Finally got some 3" endies. What's the best food at that size? They ate some shredded shrimp last night. LFS suggests small guppies. Comments please.

I feed my Bichers, although there only 3" flake food...But i did see one eat a white cloud minnow i had in the tank. Pretty cool! Minnow was half the size of the bicher. The bicher just took him out--launched like a bullet.
