I just picked up a gorgeous pike. Its still acclimating but ill have high quality pics up as soon as it gets in the tank. Dont know what species it is but it is spectacular. Its about 12 inches long. Stoked!

The tail and anal fins are deep red, the body is like a dark bronze with olive green, with like 5 or 6 vertical black bars. Black spot on the tail. The chin is solid white and the entire head is covered in deep red spangles. Pectoral fins are white with red striping.

Ok here he is, check him out. Hes a little beat up and stressed from the move but when he settles in hes gonna be amazing.

Thanks Bruce! Hes in with the cichla, hope he can hold his own lol. Hes the longest fish in the tank so maybe they wont mess with him too much. Cant wait for the 350g to get here, its allready 2 weeks late :irked:

Yeah it was a good find, he wasnt gonna last long I just happened to find him the very day they got him in. Glad I went up there!

Thats a good question, I dont know what species is it is. Might have to post an I.D. thread in a few days after it settles in and its got its true colors

Thanks for all the props! I knew it was a special fish the moment I saw it. Hes settled in nicely and took a feed of krill this morning. Im a happy camper :drool:
