its just an underly developed jaw. It has a serious underbite becuase of it, and the thing sticking out should be the bone. The jaw should have actually stretched out to where that bone is sticking out is.

So did you pull it from the breeding stock? Wouldn't that be a genetic trait that could be passed to offspring?

Im pretty sure if the chinese see this, they'll make up some superstitious crap like that thing was a third eye or something and then do whatever they can to breed it.

at least it doesnt have a cliff chin.. i dont like arowana's with a extra long lower jaw...

It's not part of the breeding stock for sure. It's not healthy to have defective fish as brooder.;)
