The specias the dinosaur eel is a type of bicher that is selling a petsmart for 10.99 they can get to be a real monster and will be up to 36 inches long.they are the best bicher around that is of my opinion.i bought 2 for my 810 and the are awsome.they are the easiest species of bicher to breed :hitting: .i looked at the bicher and the dinosaur eel and they were the same but had a 12.00 price differcence.
they're called senegalus bichirs, and they don't grow to 36 inches. you have a 810g tank? have pictures you would like to share? :)

To be correct they are *Polypertus sensgalus senegalus they grow to approx.10-12 inches with females tending to be larger than males. My petsmart sells them for 5.99.They have only recently started to be farm bred and are the most common species of the bichirs avaikable. They also in seem to be the one of the most active and a great first bichir congrats you should love him oh they tend to be long lived 10-15 years is not unrealistic-Anne
*the double name is because there is a described subspecies.
i don't understand the purpose of this post...

nothing wrong with senegals. In fact, I think that their activity and personalities makeup for their small size and plain colors. I like my senegals much more than my ornate
