Im a VERY into bass fishing and i try to take pics of all my keepers(15" or better).So since i love bass pics, lets have some fun.For every pic u post ill have another for u until i run out.

I mainly go after pickeral and bass but i catch a few smallies,white&yellow perch.crappie and a couple trout every year.

Spinner,buzz,and chatter baits are my favorite.I use the soft rubber jerk and finess worms same as u.That first pic u posted likes a green pumpkin seed with red flakes.Some others i use heavy are jigs,husky jerk baits,and crankbaits.

Queens NY here, these dumb lakes in NYC have some Bass and Pickerel.
I'd like to take on a challenge but I'd need to come by your way to go fishing. Fishing here is like fishing a toilet full of goldfish.

THATS b4 i owned a scale but im going to say atleast 7lbs
got her on a zoom lizard with a small split-shot on the line like 10 inces above the hook

nope, lol it's a medium weight spinning rod with a shimano sedona reel. My parents wouldn't for over the extra 40 for the shimano stradic, so i had to settle for #2. lol great reel tho, have had no problems.
i dont take pictures of many of my fish, so i am out of bass lol i can't go all day :(.haha

Nice thread , i wish i could add but ive only been fishing once as a kid , am planning to have a go this year though , although pic's of fish won't be as good as all of your's .
Since i dont know ur climate where you are, but when its spring and fall go fishing and in the summer go early and like 2 1/2hrs before the sun goes down.if you want some idea's on lure selection just let me know. Ok so when you catch something, take a picture and post it up.

I've caught lots of LMB through the ice hole in early ice fishing season and late ice fishing season just not in mid season. I do most bass fishing in summer when they were "starving" and being trapped in low water of the rivers that they will attack anything. They readily take the kernel corn. But I like to eat young ones than adult ones. If I want to eat bass I tend focus on the lake with stunted bass populations usually between 8 to 10 inch long. 5 pounders are more common in my area.
The last pic it was caught in early ice fishing season. The rest pictures from last summer. The wall mount is a 19 inch SMB.

Not true, there are plently 16inch long ones in Minnesota which is around 3 to 4 lbs if you know how to find them and 5 pounders are caught from time to time. My cousin caught 6 lbs starved old bass and is planning to have her bass on wall.

THATS TRUE AND IM IN NJ AND THE GUY HE SAID THAT IS NORTH OF NJ BUT BASS GROW BIG EVERWHERE IYS JUST THE SOUTHERN STATES HAVE A LONGER GROWING SEASON FOR THE BASS AND BTW

Yeah i know, I just moved down here this year, i'm waiting on the weather to break. I grew up in MD fishing up there, thats where that rockfish is from. I'm goin' to do it up right down here this year, don't worry about that.

i havent taken many pics of my catches but you can bet ill snap one every catch from here on out. i fish atleast twice a week in the winter and 5 days a week in the summer. (its how i feed all the fish i keep)

i was actually supposed to be going on an ice fishing trip last weekend but the ice was out but not enough open water to put the boat in. sucked cause i was looking forward to it. ooh well weve got another nice trip coming in march to redwing for waleye. got a local hotspot to pull out 19-21" largemouths for during the week activities.

3-5-09 just picked up a new medium weight 6'0" berkley cherrywood pole and an abu garcia 102 reel with a spool of 14lb berkley line, hopefully i will get a chance to pull a couple grubs and crank baits and show you some nice walleyes after this weekend.

I don't think I see any gar or snook in that cooler from fishman112, it looks like some ballyhoo (the smaller fish with the longer "noses") which are used as bait for offshore fish such as marlin/tuna/wahoo etc., the big brown/green fish looks like some kind of triggerfish, and the long sliver fish i would assume is in the mackerel/barracuda family, but i don't know exactly...
....I see your from the land down under, so we may just have common names different, that's not unusual.

Oh dam those punpkins seeds are HUGE, wish there was somewhere I could catch them that big he in NYC area. Sunfish and pumpkin seeds sell for like $7.99 a pound here. :nilly: I catch big blue gills but that's in Florida, but those that your catching are good eat'n. Nice channel cats too.

Wow big gar. I didn't think you could catch them at night. I have caught 2 ft size maybe biggest was 3 ft .
