here are some pics of my african tank. I have 1 bumblebee, 2 Kenyi, 1 red Zebra, and 3 Electric yellow labs. I just got 2 Acei, but I dont have any pics of them, sorry.

Before you say anything about the size and how they might outgrow it, I know, but that's my problem and I think they'll be fine for a while.

please ignore the finger, I was just trying to ge them over to me. :D

it's a 46 gallon bowfront for the price of a 14 gallon bowfront. my grandfather bought it off of craigslist.

lo in the full tank shot, notice the wii play box on the right of the tank. behind that is the computer. my basement isn't finished, that would be why.

I have 2 rocks, and the love them. I don't really have space for another. there is a little whole in one that they'll go into and I'll think it died... lol

i would still add more rockwork like cichlaholics said. they really love it and need it to be happy. the more you put it the happier they'll be and the less they'll hide cuz they'll feel more comfy lol

How is there not enough room for rocks? I see plenty of space for more decor.

I must agree with the crowd. If it where mine I would move the drift wood to each side of the tank and stack build several caves out of stone in the center.

Also I have found that dark or black substrate will bring out the colors of the fish and at the same time it seems to help them feel more at ease, so that they will come out in the open more.

You have great looking plants, fish and a real nice setup.:naughty: Have a great day!

I could probably move the current rocks/plant around for room for 1 more. I saw this one, it's like a cave with a crevace on top of it.

You could go find rocks, or you can buy real rocks, or your can buy more fake decorations if you'd like. You just want to make sure to provide lots of hiding areas and territories for all the fish.

If you find rocks make sure to clean them real well, I have never done this but I am sure you can find a ton of info about how to do that on the forums.

I have 100lbs of rock in my 75 gal.

if i use rocks from outside i just boil them... i would get a bunch of little pieces of driftwood and just stack them in there. i have 1 $50 piece with a bunch of holes and about 10 little $6 pieces just threw on top of one another, it makes a bunch of lil crevices for them to call their own. i don't have africans though.

that might work, I'll try that later.
