OK self explanatory He has a favorite hiding spot that his sits in all day till I drop food in the tank then he comes out in full Camouflage. His normal Silvery eyes with red turn pure black. So anyways see if you can pick him out.

Really nice fish, I gotta get one some day. Warmouths are like perch correct? They stay small?
Is he a Piscivore or will it eat prepared foods?

Warmouth is a Lepomis Species which is a sunfish. Mine eats just about anything feeders, pellets, shrimp, krill etc. And from what I have researched they can get to just over 12" and about 2 lbs. World record is 2 lbs 7 oz.

YEAH I NOTICED THAT WITH MY ROCK BASS HE WAS JUST LIKE THAT WHEN HE WAS JUST CHILLING HE WOULD BE ALL SILVER BUT WHEN IT CAME TIME TO EAT HE GOT LIKE THIS SNAKE TYPE OF PATTERN
GREAT LOOKING FISH BTW
Thanks. I think the eye going from silver with the red in it to pitch black is almost as cool as his pattern changing.
