This i just have to share---One inch per month for 10 months. I know he'll slow down soon. Does anyone have experiance with when that might happen for Bullheads.
I caught mine as a fry, less than 1/2 inch. He's 5" now. Got it in OCT.

In the wild they dont get much bigger over a foot if it is the same bullheads I catch around here.
Mine is a Black Bullhead, they don't get very big. I have caught some species that are much larger though.

The bullheads I have, both black and yellow, have grown very fast.
