im thinking of getting a 96 by 30 by 24 or a 84 by 36 by 24. which one is better for pbass

I say the 96x30x24, because the extra 12" for swimming space is better than the extra 6" width.

96" x 30" = 22.5 sq ft of swimming space, which is slightly bigger then the 21 sq ft provided by the 84" x 36"

My opinion is either way I would go with the 96" footprint. but that is just me.

i would have to go with the 36' wide the loss of length is more than worth it for the gain in width

i want nothing shorter then 36" wide when it comes time to upgrade for my arow.

If you gonna spend that much on a tank, why not just spend the extra couple of hundred and get a 96x36x24?

:iagree: Unless you plain on upgrading again! Your only delima seems to be Width vs Lenght so why not combine the two! More mullah but you get the best of both scenerio's.

my parents are getting it for me and ill try to convince my parents for the extra 600 bucks. and i wont be upgrading after this. can a captive pbass outgrow an 96 by 30 by 24?
