:D pls rate my FH from 1 to 10 :D ....10 is the highest rating and 1 as the lowest
example on how to do the rating : :D

Don't know much about flower horns and I don't understand how to rate it the way you want but on a scale of one to ten I would give it a ten.

Awesome, minimum a 9, probably a 9.5, and very well could be a 10...
Although this is a nice fish I give it a 5......I live in the seattle area and in chin atown in seattle they have 300-700 dollar FH that range form 2.5-6" and there quality blows this one away. I believe this fish lacked the proper lighting because to me its colors are dull in comparison with high quality FH'S. Also although eyes might seem like one category to judge the lack of red in this FH's eyes would be a heavy deduction in judgement of quality. Honestly i think its a gorgeous fish but compared to other FH'S that i've seen i'd give it a 5. But who cares what i think or anyone else. All that matters is that you like you fish and the colors it has.

if you're looking for redness in the eye of this FH, you'll not really see a red eye in him bcoz it has white eyes :ROFL: , if you dont know yet what a sunken eye looks like, look closely to the eye of this FH, compare it to the pic you posted, your FH pic has pop eye :D and sometimes pop eye is a sign of sikness in a fish...sunken eye is rare or you'll seldom see it in FH...mostly kamfas have this feature... i think you're judging this FH based on ZZ features not kamfa....this fish is kamfa not ZZ :D

IMO serious FH keepers knows what are the different types or strains of FH and based on your statements the features that you are describing are the features of a ZZ FH and you're comparing those features to a kamfa which is really different...there are so many new strains now which are not red eyed FH...the first generations of FH are red eyed, i suggest you check the new strains...ZZ are the first generations that have red eyes....anyway thanks for rating (http://www.flowerhornusa.com/index.php?showtopic=14740) my FH, if you consider it a low grade FH, then its your opinion and i thank you for sharing your opinion on my fish :D

plums = 4......... not dark, straight or enough plums... would rather seeing it without any
pearls =5....... it needs more pearlings, would be awesome if it's full body pearl.. face, head and all
tail & fins = high 8 , considering the color.. but pic doesnt show the flares of the big wide fan tail and over lapping wrap fins.. so need better pic to judge
eyes = 8 ... looks perfect the way it is, nice inset white eyes.. but be better to see in person
body shape = 8.. top section looks sweet, but bottom needs to be fatten a bit, also thickness wise, not a 10 due to not having a buff chest
well the fish in my opinion has all the great potential and values, it just need to worked on a lil bit more, becuase it is still young and have many more potential and beauties to show..
but the only downfall i see is the plum.. its too far apart..and or not long enough..as of needing them darker tooo.
well bro.. those are just my opinions and grading..just dont take peeps words to seriously.. we all got our tastes.. but as of me ...YEAH !!! KamfaS all the way!!!..

i agree w/ u bro that the plum is the downfall and it will no longer have great improvements, also the kok, but im still hopefull the the kok will improve as this fish grow older...he is only 7 months old...thanks for rating my fish and sharing your opinion :thumbsup:
if you'll see his eyes in person you might give him more than 8 :D ...the top 3 potentials i see in him are body shape, eyes and the tail & fins :)

Here is one of my males... he has red eyes but by no means is a show fish but he isn't a killer either.... BTW The like yours :thumbsup:

its not a low grade hell some of the low grades don't even have color I have seen some that look like POOP

wow 10 on everything but pearls. BUT it doesn't matter that it has pearls, because those heavy metals and zz's are meant for pearls, this is a different flowerhorn that is fantastic.
so i give the fish a 10 overall. Love the not massive head and sort of stripes on its fins. Really nice fish, lucky fishkeeper.

Agree for the most part, except, I would give slightly higher rating on the color and lower on the finage, for a kamfa.

…Mouth shape should also be considered for rating – 6 for a Kamfa (9 for a ZZ)
In my opinion the overall look is more important above any individual features. The kamfa gets a six, and that ZZ in Seattle gets a four.

wait a second...
not all fh keepers want red eyes, if you like your zz malaus then ok fair enough. but kamfas have different colour eyes and feats.
well its personal preference but many people actually think that zz's cant hold a candle to kamfas for a no. of reasons.
anyway, to the owner. great fish like all abt it except i like my fish to have a big kok, so ill give it a 9+

i don't know about ratings of flowerhorns, but in my opinion i think yours is prettier than the second one shown. looks healthy and happy.
