I bought a 110 gal tank off of CL yesterday for $125. I was excited when my husband called me when he picked it up to say that 2 Fluval 404 came with it as well as 2 HOB filters, 1 300w visitherm heater, 1 150w visitherm heater, gravel, and 6 fish. Well the 3 red devils and the silver dollar have already found new homes. The green terror and african brown knife we are keeping. Anyway, here are the before and after...all done today.
WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!
But wait there is more too come....I traded my husbands little 14 ft. boat for a 125 gal full set up. I will get it this weekend!

It was his little boat. He still has his 21' Erie boat! Padiwan, we spent all day on it. From 6 am until I started this thread and my husband only tolerates my tanks.

Wow that is so gross and filthy, I am surprised the fish were alive in that thing. I'd love to see the water parameters before it was taken down.

Well the fish lived but the largest RD has HITH and I am sure the filth is what gave it to him.

*gag* that's gross. I mean it's one thing if it's your own fish's poo, but cleaning someone else's fish poo just seems much more disgusting.

Great pick up tho. I don't know that I'd trade a 14ft boat for a 125, but I guess I don't know what kind of shape the boat was in.

It was the hubby's boat and I would say it was a fair trade. He still has his big boat, for fishing on Lake Erie. Cleaning that tank and more so the fluval filters was nasty, but I have a pretty nice tank now and considering that I got the tank and 2 fluvals in the deal makes all the cleaning worth it.

Yes it was. It proves that gravel vacs are a must! The people I bought the tank from couldn't have done ANY. They claimed they cleaned it last week.
