been playing around with the cam whenever i got the the chance, picked up a new lens too for the cam (55 - 200 VR nikkor)
was just checking out how that works out

he was being pushed around by a pair of breeding cons, and the next day, the 3"+ female con was nowhere to be seen in the tank and the 5" male was killed
recently he ate one of my red hook silver dollars too

earthworms
grasshoppers
beef heart or chicken heart
market prawn
toads

dark substrates,jardinis change color according to the surrounding

If it's always silver, it could be a Lei. Jar has darker color.

Do note that sometime the barbel is an indicator which is telling you that the quality of the water in there is not ideal anymore thus become longer or they split wider. Do a water test and correct by checking the filtration wool and change water.

I will try to take pics of it. My red tail gourami was trying to steal the prawn that is hanging from the jars mouth and accidentally bit the right barbel when it try to turned around and avoided the gourami from stealing the food.
