How long would a 4in. Fahaka last in my 45g. till I would need to upgrade?
I usually HATE questions like this cuz I know most people will say to wait and buy something it can be housed in for life, but its for sale by somebody local, its a great price (only $45, do you agree? ), and it must sell soon so Im just putting the question out there in consideration of buying this baby! :D

$45 is reasonable i suppose. Rehoboth Aquatics in the buy and sell had some at 3 inches going for 20 each i think and 3 for 30 dollars but that was a while back. Just keep him alone, seriously. It'll maim whatever you put in with it

Ok, was just curious because I did not know what they were selling them for. I just bought one that is 3" from my LFS, they had no idea what it was so they gave it to me for $12.99.
They called it a dog face puffer, never heard of that.

They grow super quick so I wouldn't expect much price difference between 3-6 inch. I don't expect it to last that long in a small tank without being stunted. You should easily get an inch a month up to a foot long. Eeeevil buggers but stunning markings!

Mine is in my 55 Gallon, he's about 3" at the moment, once he reaches around 10" I'll look to upgrade him.
