Just out of curiosity What's up with this forum? I moved all or my posting to this "Cichlid Media Lounge" but I see folks are still posting pictures in the "C&S American Cichlids" forum???

Here's the big girl checking out the lighting set up. ONe thing she is not...is shy.

And one for the camera.

What makes these shots unique is that I generally have the tank lights on in addition to the flash units. This only because it's easier to focus with light...the flash over rides the tank light. The Nikon camera has an excellent 52 point focus field. In these three shots the oly light was from the flash. It does make a bit of a difference in knocking out the background. The pair are getting ready to breed again.

One shot of another of the male F0 Managuense from Honduras. I pulled yet another pair from the pond...in surprisingly good shape.

Good lord, how big is that Pearsei? It looks like it weighs 10lbs. Truly great specimen.

Awsome Pearsi. I have two that are about 3-4" long and are absolutely fearless, and always begging for food. Cannot wait unit they grow up.
