a 55 gallon should be fine for a month

ya a 55 will be fine for a short time, the 110 will be good for a longer time.
If you have a 75 I'd recommend putting him in there. The more space the better, but for only a month I think he would be ok in a 55.

A 75 would be better. The 110 will only last him tops 1 year though. You need to start putting into motion your next tank after the 110 so in 9 months to a year when this fish is a monster, he isn't cramped.

yeah it's ok
I agree, he will be fine in 55g for a month.
General rule of thumb, you want the tank to be deeper then the aro, when it turns it shouldnt touch the sides.

He won't last much longer in a 110 than he would in a 75. If you're just now looking for a tank, I'd recommend going for at least a 180 (which down the road he would eventually also become cramped in)

moving to a bigger tank brings less hassle and aro grows faster to my experience.
