The aro is about 10" and the NGT is 2.5". I hope he doesn't go after the Dat, so far hasn't even gone after the feeders that I put in for the dat.

I am currently trying to ween him of of feeders, but it is so fun to watch him chase them that once he is on dried food I will miss his antics. He will be totally vertical with his head pionted to the bottom of the tank and still moving forward...It's kind of like a helicopter on an extreme tilt.Anyone seen this before and is this normal for them?

thats bad man my silver was swimming around like that for about a week and died one it was a baby at like 9", but someone might know different but mine was swimming very slowly with his tail high up and his head down and it died. but if he still eats it could be fine. keep a close watch on him, and keep me posted on his behaviour

Nice ngt. I too have a similar combo. Just make sure the dat has plenty of places to hide. And try and keep the aro on floating sticks and gutloaded crickets so he stays on the top for the most part....atleast during feeding. Aro's are pretty easy to hand feed market shrimp as well.

Yes its normal. Most of mine are on pellets and frozen food and they still stalk the frozen fish fillets!
