I've been trying to get some Convicts to breed. First I got a pair just to find out that I possibly had 2 females. Then I bought another Convict that I was for sure a male. Well...the Convict that I originally thought was a male and the new male were fighting. So I got 2 more females. Then when I was sure which ones I liked, I removed 3 of them. The current 2 are for sure a male and female. They haven't bred yet. It's been about a month. Am I being impatient or is it just not working?

Haven't bred them before either but it could be that they just get along but not enough to breed. Most of the time I hear people by like 10 little ones and a pair will form and they will either kill the rest or you remove them. Or it could be they just need more time.

if you got a pair, its very probable they will breed. its almost guaranteed. feed em good, maybe heat the tank into the 80s, and make sure they got a cave/fortress to protect and it will only be a matter of time.
just a little more patience bud, it'll work out.
How big are they? They might not be old enough.

I think they will breed soon enough, just hang in there, maybe they are too young or not in the mood yet, try the clay pot idea...and turn the lights down low ;)

I got a clay pot in there already. I've also heard that they can breed at a pretty small size. At what size should I expect them to breed at?
