After months of checking out for oddballs, I found two in a week. The first one has a puzzle like pattern as his second bar. Then, I found this guy (pictured) last weekend. I'm still looking for one with a spot.

Nice saddleback pattern. Some clown loaches eventually grow a spot. One of mine already grew a spot which took me by surprised so I now have two side spot clown loaches.

I look specifically for them, pay the same price. How rare are these clown loaches with four bars?

You'll have to look harder for those. The most common oddballs are side spots but that's because some clowns eventually develop the spot as they grow. Next are saddlebacks.

The one in the pic? No. It's a saddleback variant.
