hi just some pics of my new arrowana i now some people on here didn't like me buying this fish but here are my views
1)the arrowana is in a bigger tank now than before
2)my tank has a lot better filteration and will have fequent partial water changes
3)i am upgrading from my current set up to a 6x4x2 indoor pond asap

Nice looking aro,

You must've somewhat agreed with the people who didn't like you buying the arowana, because the proposed dimensions of your pond seem to have gotten bigger.

Nice pickup gl with , and " its going to be stunted?" doubt it , anyway always the big fuss about big tanks all arows need , but still if the fish can move around and cut the corners i dont see a problem with it? i mean ok if ur keeping it in a 55g or a goldfishbowl thats a diffrent story (and im sure alot of ppl keep them in smaller tanks then u are , but ye all up to the owners i guess.

as long as you transfer it out to the pond within the next few months it shouldnt be stunted...

6 feet is too small for an arowana (pond.) Go with an 8x4x30" it won't take up much more space...

well in the stickys it says 6x3x2 minimum so 6x4x2 is big enough surely and i haven't got enough room for 8x4x30" anyway

for all of you bashing this guy, I'm pretty sure delgado kept a arowana in a 18" wide tank, im not disagreeing with you all when you say he needs a bigger tank, but im sure the aro is more than fine for the time being.

Okay, it's big enough if you want it to swim circles it's whole life. I am sure you have enough room for an 8 foot long pond, it doesn't take up much more space and almost doubles it's capacity. And, when building a pond, you can always go a little bit deeper.

Simple research would show delgado kept his in a 180g 6x2x2'

Sticky's are wrong and it is unfortunate that the one is even a sticky, a far cry from MFK standards.

If all you can provide is the 6x4 pond that is fine. That will be bigger then most silvers will see. As some point once you silver 30 plus inches you may have differing opinions on what size tank the silver should be in.

well yes i could go bigger than 6x4x2 but i can get a preformed pond in 6x4x2 but not 8x4x30"
