Not very often, try going through a simpatico bio teacher at you local college. Don't get your hopes up. Fines can be big if you get caught, in san francisco they can also confiscate your tanks and court order you not to keep any tanks for up to 2 years And can come check any time they get a wild hair.

jus drive to a neighboring state where its not
its a lot safer then using a credit card via internet
which my friend got busted for

most pet shops do as long as its not Pet co. or petsmart, their distrubiters dont distrubiute them them thay are out of Cal. plus i dont like going tho those stores anyway :headbang2
