What a great way to start out Spring! Special thanks again to Massive Aggression AKA Nate!

All 10 of them arrived in perfect condition! A++++ work for packaging and service and what more is there to say.

They are all in a 55 gallon dedicated only to them besides a discus. The 55 is planted and the surface is 1/3 full with floating plants for security. I tried feeding them freeze dried bloodworms and almost half of them are eating it now. Anyways enough said an on with the pictures! I will get a full tank shot later.....

Hehe, was waiting until someone asked! They are all around 2.5"-3.5"ish. Some still have a little of their yolk, but that is nothing to worry as I am already a professional! :D

I wanted to grow them out until they are maybe 8" or so in the 55 gallon, before moving them into my 180. Reason so is because I don't want them to die in the 180's current and the rays that are in there. Once in the 180, I plan to get them all to around 16"-18". (Koji is the inspiration to this, with his group of silvers).

Lastly I will hand pick the ones I want to keep in the 180 gallon, and some for my older brother who will be returning back from Military. I only plan on keeping around 6 (for my brother and me). The rest I will sell to other local MFKers.

I was thinking about either getting a 300 gallon+ pond OR a tank with the footprints of 8x3x2.
I will try and update these guys at least once if not more times a month.

Hmoob.... were these "WC" Silvers? I wanna take a peek at Nates stocklist ...... I'm planning on doing the same thing but probably with 15, just waiting for someone (cough** Rich**cough) to bring in some Wild Silvers.

Nate told me they were WC, yes. Just hope none of them have DE or any defects.
Also I wish there was still that 10 for $50 deal a while back.... :(

what color are there fins on your silvers?
i just noticed mines have dark black fins, but it could be the black curtains behind them

Looks like any other color on a baby silver. I know I can't get these little ****ers to stop fighting! :)

I scattered all the plants throughout the tank incase they need to hide from others. It works, and one or two will usually stay from the group but there will always be around 5+ in a group having a brawl....They also seemed to have gotten bigger, and their tummies are always round. Lets just hope for the best....
