Aro will be definitely happy in this tank.
3 feet wide is amazing.

The width is great but a black aro would do much better with more length.

So will 5 feet be enought? This is gonna be a ray tank so I can't get a aggresive one.

You could do the black aro. Keep in mind though he will be happier in a longer tank. The depth is awesome though. Generally the minimum tank size is at least 2 times the length and 1 times the depth compared to the length of the fish.

2 teacup hystrix M/F
2 widebar datinoids
1 black arowana
1 fire eel
1 black ghost knife
1 tire track eel
4-6 clown loaches
mabye a couple small things but for the most part that is what i want. think it will be ok???
its an amazing tank you have there. would look much better if the tank is longer but should be enough for the black aro. :)

this tank should be fine for your black aro but imo with your list of tankmates you should watch out on your aquarium bioload so better get the best filtration system to get the job done.
nice tank . keep us updated.

think its to many fish? all of these fish wont be added at once over a year
2 teacup hystrix M/F (first couple months)
2 widebar datinoids(around 6 months)
1 black arowana(6 months to a year)
1 fire eel(first couple months)
1 black ghost knife(first couple months)
1 tire track eel(first couple months)
4-6 clown loaches( first month)
Im gonna have 2 rena xp3s and Pentair Aquatics Fluidized Bed Filter- 900. eventually once all fish are added i might add another xp3 well see how it works out tho(OOH YA IM GONNA RUN MY FILTERS ON PRECYCLED TANKS. so thats why fish will be added so soon. my filters will run on tanks for like 2-3 weeks. except my bed filter

as long as you add them like you plan and you water is already cycle it should be ok.
and since you been keeping all those fishes, I'm sure you know how aquariums work. :)
just make sure you use most of you cycle water since 235 gallon is a lot. :)

Ya even tho I'm gonna run the filters on another tank I'm still gonna let them run for a week or 2 before I add fish. I can't wait tell its all setup I've been reading up for months. Anyone my age got an aquarium this size?(I'm 13  )

thats alot of fish. I would say overstocked when all grown your arowana, dats and rays all get REALLY BIG. and the loaches and eels get really big but it takes them longer.

Nice tank, but it will get crowded. 6'-8' long is more ideal for aro's and 3' wide is perfect. I wish my tank was 3' wide.

I have no idea how you would perserve your dead fish. You will get many more response if you post your question in a new thread, instread of a 2 year old thread that is on a different topic.
