I picked up a super small silver arowana from the petstore for 11$ and its been lke 2-3 months and he got super tick already around 5-6in. One thing i noticed is that he isn't just silver.. He has really bright green red and black lines on his fins and its starting to show on his scales is this normal? Im stoked that he is all colorful haha he needs to stop being a pussy tho.
Here are some pics taken with my g1 i finally caught him staying still after like 20 minutes of bs.

cute :D I wonder why I can't keep any fish that size :( anyway he'll become a real silver once he reaches 20"+ and the silver might gone ones he reach 30" depends on the care.

in time his colors will fade.. but for now.. he will either turn very white color or very green depending on the species...
It looks like he will be very white silver looking...
