View Full Version : Diablo Red
Was shifting some mid size reds between concrete ponds. Using this opportunity to take some proper pictures of them out of the water during the event.:)

Amazing!
So do you think this level of red could be achieved through aquarium lighting/tanning or only through natural sunlight?

I will say, genes is important. Without good genes, even if you give natural sunlight daily the fish wont do any better.
And yes, through light tanning can achieve good colouration effect as well. Just that natural sunlight is the best in tanning the fish.
Absolutely amazing colors.

Beautiful fish Koji! I bet it wouldn't look as good if it wasn't out in the natural light, I've got no experience with aro's but I know what a difference it makes with goldfish in a pond vs tank.
is it allow me to hold an Aro like that to take a pic if i come over? lol :P
