I've never seen a loach that size with all of it's color like that. Ity even has spots. awesome.

They look pretty fat. It's hard to tell how big as there is nothing to compare them to.

They look pretty fat. It's hard to tell how big as there is nothing to compare them to.


When loaches get to adult size, they are typically very stocky. This one is very old and has a typical body shape for a loach that size. It's probably 10-12".

Does look big and healthy but there's nothing in the background to compare it against. A bunch of wild caught fish were imported once into Australia that were about 10-12 inches long. They looked too stressed to eat and probably wasted away. I think the only way to get a big one is to grow it youself and they do grow quick.

im just not a massive loach fan. but i can respect the patience it must've taken to grow those guys out. they are def NOT fast growers.

After 4" their growth slows down considerably.
