hey guys i just picked him up yesterday paid 380$ for him :D:nilly:
he was priced at 600 but cash hagiling always worx :D
sorry the pics are kinda blurry i was in a rush to get his on mfk so i used my cell but ill get my cam out and take some good shots soon.

nice RTG,i wonder if it turns out HBRTG or RTG i think it will be a RTG since its so cheap lol and keep us updated on the little fella

ty everyone, not sure what it will turn out to , HBRTG would be really nice, the guy i got it from said its not an RTG tho cuz it would say on the cirtifacate "red tail golden" and mine says "golden red" aparently there is a difference ( i dont know for shure) but thats what he said, this guy is supose to be more red then a regular rtg , who knows... will c what happens ill keep you guys posted :)

it would probably end up as a red splendour (RTG/SR), anyways nice asian arowana.
i have one from the same farm, named the same 'golden red'. they're regular rtgs, but great quality.

lucky aquariums inm markham :) its a good place to go to, i get 90% of my stuff there
golden red is HBRTG or RTG my uncle told me that his HBRTG's certificate said golden red too

sweet :) (Update) he is eating amazing everyone! :D in 2 days he has eatin 16 superworms and 3 gold fish (the goldfish were ment forone of his tankmates a gator gar) hes doing really well

No offense, but Lucky sells their remaining Golden Red stock for $380 already. So either your lying about the $600 "original price", or your the one that almost got haggled. LOL

HAHAHA SORRY CYPHER but im not lying luckys sells 2.5" long ones for 380 if you have ever acually bin there so y donbt you try going there n come back an tell me how much the 6 " ones are going for and yu will c a price tag for 599$ so SUCK IT!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

LoL then yea, they jacked up the prices. They have been at $400 since they arrived in January. I bought one from Jim as well, so I know the prices, or what they should be at. $600 gets you one about 12-14".
Also, before I let you go back to enjoying your "$600" RTG, Asian arowanas have egg sacs up to 2.5-3" and cannot be tagged or shipped before they reach 4.5-5". So go bring a tape measure next time you go there.

tru, i could be over doing it when i said 2.5" but he is a smaller one , n i agree that i wouldnt pay 600 for a 6-7 incher but thats why its good to get to know jim hes the guy with the kinda orangish hair? he is an asain guy the manager there he gives good deals as long as you go in with cash i find i got 7 pbass for 60$, 2 CB motoros for 230, 100$ for the green asian i have and thats pretty much why i got a good deal on the rtg from him lol i kinda went crazy in that place last week :D
