How much do u guys pay for your bichirs? Around me they are VERY expensive. A regular small senegal can go for $30-50 depending on store. Then other types or albinos are even more!!!! Am i just cheap or is this a little expensive? I have wanted to set up a bichir tank but i dont know if i will cause i could only afford 1 or maybe 2 if i find them for a little cheaper...

Even Petsmart is getting pricier, or perhaps it's just not a good time of the year for imports(???) $37 CDN last week for senegalus!!:WHOA:
Of course that's the first time in over a year anyone around here has brought them in, so they didn't last long.

I have recenlty spent $40 on a 4 inch ornate, $15.99 on a two inch albino senegal, and the local Pet Smart has regular senegals for around $5-6
I would probably order from somewhere to get a more rare species

In Korea, they range from (senegal) $10.00 to (endlicheri) $80.00. Albinos and especially short-bodied are common here and as cheap as a regular senegal.
