Here's a picture of my Xingu Royal pleco at 3inch approx.
Have 2 of them and been keeping them for almost 2 months
now with an albino which is about same size approx.
Any comments (bad or good) more than welcome.
Still new in this pleco world. :)

P.S Can I put a Gold Nugget with those 3 pleco? (2 Xingu and a common albino)
Tank is a 120 gallon with Aro and 5 4inch Tiger Datnoid.
Or better keep all 4 pleco in a 15 gallon by themselves? THX

Great looking royals. I would say you should be fine in a 120 so long as you have tons of wood in there for them. The royals need wood in there diet, and at there larger extreme can rasp through several lbs a year. Also will provide hiding spots for the plecos to lay claims to territory. Watch out for aggressiveness from the gold nugget if you decide to get one. I would recommend one of the more docile species, L177 for example. Anyway, let us know what you decide on.

nice pleco, good pic ups. yeah the GNs tend to be agressive territorial, but as long as you have plenty of good spawning sites, they will each have a territory and things should be fine.

No the tail just appears to be in that first picture. They have a semi-transparent membrane.
