can anyone id this cat ? my lfs had it labled as black/white catfish ?? thanks

Could be a lima on closer look, really hard to tell from directly above though.

looks like a lima, cannot tell anything for sure though without a side shot.

Don't need a side shot on this cat. It is without a doubt a sorubim lima.

w00t! You'll grow to live these guys. Most large growing species of catfish are very owner responsive.

oh ya ive got , a 8 inch jag who is pretty social .. and a 5 inch rtc/shovelnose who hides alot !! and the lima will be my pet soon !@!

Just watch out for the pectoral spines they hurt like hell take my word for it. (I used to be one of those that said aww it is not that bad as I have been spined by a few different cats but the Lima was hands down the most painful)
