Well im not sure if it will work all the time but since like last month i have been noticing all the baby orinos i have seen posted on here the black line doesnt go all the way through the tail. So ive been saving pics to make my point someday. I didnt want to say anything because i wasnt sure. So yesterday i saw xaznkewlguyx post on this thread that he noticed it too. Then later on R1 Ridah picked up on it too. I know many of you probably are thinking he stole their theory well anyways here are the pics i have collected
As you can see most of the time there is no black line at all. But R1's orinos have the black line but it goes only half way. I know this probably wont work everytime but at least its something to go off of. Your welcome to post comments and arguements.

lunks' bass look like they have the horizontal black bar extending through their tail. Could the horizontal bar be the key?

if there small i mean small 1/2" to 3/4" its very hard to distinctively id these guys at about 1.5" you should be able to tell, ocellaris and monos develop the horizontal line at this size and their lines run all the way through so don't jump the gun if you find some baby bass at 3/4" MIMICKING ORINOS wait awhile for them to develop that horizontal line!
